A blend of Merlot/Cabernet Franc/Tannat

Toa Iti means “Little Warrior” and is our blended red that personifies what the Karikari Vineyard can exhibit on a regular basis. This blend of 2016/2017 vintages shows dark red fruits and well-integrated smoky tannins. It has a smooth entry with a sweet fruit burst finish. Palate is full, with rich tannins and plenty of structure, with the tannins becoming more graceful and poised as the wine matures.
